Great Outdoor Adventure Trips
Sunday, October 18th, 2009Goat (Great Outdoor Adventure Trips) is a ministry located right here in Greenville that takes underprivaledged and “at-risk” youth from our community on outdoor adventure trips. These rafting, climbing and backpacking trips help show the participants God through His creation while teaching them valuable leadership and outdoor skills.
The Goat Cornhole classic was Goat’s first ever fundraiser event and raised enough money to send 20 kids on trips during our summer programs for 2010. The majority of our participants haven’t experience anything like this, and could never afford to. Donations and fundraising efforts cover the costs so they don’t have to.
